Meshball.com is a new age dynamic platform to maximize profitability of assets and goods that is not core to a companies primary business. It is a two-way search engine working primarily on a ‘post and push’ concept using smart algorithms and filters. Meshball users are primarily manufacturing or trading entities.
The platform first accurately defines and understands the user by capturing key information and then tries to assess possibilities of their needs and wants. The information collected from users at the time of registration is then used to generate relevant solutions based on the postings and needs of other users. Through the expression of your needs and wants Meshball aims to bring relevant solutions and connections to your doorstep.
It all began in a small town in India when our Founder was tasked to sell a ‘used metal cleaning plant’ for his family business. As simple as it may sound the task took away a lot of his personal time in answering questions and providing explanations. After demonstrating the plant to several potential buyers the best he could manage was to sell it in a rush at a throw away price to a nearby business. The plant was occupying useful ‘factory space’ and further expansion without selling the plant would not have been possible.
This got him thinking:
What if there was one simple “go to place” where he could express his wish to sell the plant to businesses who were in a similar space? Would this enable him to sell more quickly and allow him to get a better price?
Furthermore, another challenge he faced while running the family business was hiring talent. Finding talent was difficult and finding talent with a low budget was even more difficult. He was later convinced that this would only be possible by hiring consultants. He did not wish to make any compromises on quality and wanted only the “best”. Due to lack of an organized medium to find “part-time talent” it took him years to identify and connect to these consultants. Once they were identified and brought on board the benefits realized were tremendous. The organization slowly started to evolve and then shine.
These thoughts led to the birth of Meshball.com. The platform was then developed and launched on July 4th 2015.
